Here are some of our Summer Program Ideas:

Glow in the Dark–paint to make jars, Glow paint to make stenciled t-shirts, glow-in-the-dark eye balls, bowling (glow sticks in water bottles–glow necklaces so you don’t bump into each other), jello made with tonic water will react to black light

Edible Arrangements–cookie cutters to cut fruit into shapes

Green Magician

Themed weeks: ghost, vampire, glow in the dark, etc

Tombstone rubbing, epitaph display, fingerprinting

Movies, Star Wars (pool noodle light sabers)

Dub Step contest, coffee house, scary story telling/contest

Planetarium visits and astronomy events

Long exposure painting with light–contest? Or flamerpaint(?)

Night vision glasses demonstration, murder mystery

Zombies and Zombification

Survivalist

Scary card stamping, jewelry, jewelry with hardware) duct tape

Author Visits: Kim Harrington at Otis, Eric Berlin does many events in CT,

Prize Ideas: Tarot reading gift card, dream catchers, glow in the dark from oriental trading, backpacks, scratch tickets for prizes (to determine who wins ie: raffle), silent auction raffle awarding of prizes, Woodstock Fair tickets (it never hurts to ask for prize donations)

Displays: epitaphs, match the monster, fairy tales, how to avoid vampires, famous tombs, LED bulletin board pins
